Born in 1972, at the time when most companies began producing carbonated drinks, Estathé was presented in a completely different way from its competitors: a fresh, natural drink, good for any occasion. It was promoted with television commercials in the 1980s, but this product did not take off and remained a niche product (we were in the midst of the launch and fashion of carbonated drinks) for ten years. However, Ferrero believes in its drink and continues to produce it despite low sales and minimal revenue volumes, almost at a loss.

Each region has its own identity, including culinary, and this manifests itself both in traditional cuisine and in the creation of "snacks" and picnics. In the first recruiting phase of this initiative, castings were held in 4 Italian cities: Pontedera, Ostuni, Sassuolo and Pinerolo . From all the applications, 20 were selected for each city, for a total of 80 people. Following the casting, a ranking was drawn up by city and in each city a Master of the Italian Picnic was proclaimed at the end .
